Life is a choice...

LIFE. It is a precious gift that God has given us. He gave us this life for us to enjoy his beautiful and picturesque creations. As we go through our journey, we discover that life is not just pure pleasure. Instead, we knew that life is full of challenges, conquests and adventures that we soon treasure. With each step in life, we are given a choice. Each decision we make, those paths we chose, makes up who we are at the present. We are what we are because it is the person we chose to be.

As what I have said earlier, we are what we are because of the decisions we make in our life. I have become the person I am now because of the decisions and choices I made in my life. Maybe along the way, I made some wrong turns and made some wrong choices but I acknowledged my mistakes and learned from them. Life wasn't and isn't easy for me. Sometimes, due to what the people I love did, I was hurt. It was my choice to cry and go on with my life rather than hate the world and break hearts and be lesser of who I am. My experiences made me stronger. They made me a better person. I know that sometimes, I made mistakes. I mean what are regrets for, right? They are there to show that life isn't perfect, that we ourselves aren't perfect. We have to make some wrong turns so we could learn. Life won't really be that wonderful if all you had was sitting in your bed all day long with nothing to do, just pure pleasure and nothing but that. It would be more colorful if you have a few good memories of adventures and endeavors that you successfully went through. It's good to remember those tears you shed, the sweat that covered your face and your heart that pumped twice as hard as before. We learned to solve life's puzzles and discovered our purpose. We knew the person inside us better. We mature and grow. We may choose different paths, but those paths lead to only one end. As we travel, we meet other people from different walks of life. We learn from them and share our life with them. They are those people who made life more memorable. In the end, we're happy and contented. We are glad to live our life to the fullest and to be able to make the most out of it. We carry with us all our experiences, our success and failures, our gains and losses. Sometimes, you actually find yourself smiling, even laughing when you look back to what you've been through.

I quote what Shakespeare once said: “ The web of our life is of a mingled yam, good and ill together...”. Life has its sweetness and bitterness. It is both good and bad. We just have to go through life and enjoy what God has prepared for us. Live life. Solve every problem. Make a choice.
