As most of you know, I'm Stacey Kay Osua Fortuna. I'm a University of the Philippines High School in Cebu student. I'm actually in my sophomore year. I'm from a family of five, with two other caring siblings and two lovable parents. I'm the youngest of the three daughters of Gil and Josefina Fortuna. We're named with all our names beginning in ST, our names composing of nine letters each! Gosh! It even amazes me. But they said they didn't mean it to happen to our names. Much of that anyway. As a person, I can say I'm more matured than those the same age as me. I never wonder why. Maybe because I'm with older people at home. Our age gaps are sort of long.

I also hang out with my elder sister's batch mates, in that case, first year high schools when I was still in first grade. It's funny actually. But I didn't feel uneasy. I got along well with them. They even call me Starbright (because my eldest sister's name is Starla). When I was in grade two, I had my first real crush. It even lasted until he graduated from elementary. We had two years gap. Anyway, he's name is Adrian. Then, the next school year, when I was in fifth grade, I had a crush whose name was Adrian too. A bit weird really, only that he was older than I am by a year. When I was already in sixth grade, I never had a crush. Maybe admired some guys in school but for me, it was nothing. Some people thought it was a bit abnormal. I think not. There would come a time in life where in your tired of being attracted, not YET in love! Not to be proud or anything but I was happy when I was one of the top ten students from the whole batch. When I was awarded and I had some picture-taking with my parents, I really felt so happy that I almost cried. Actually, I was teary eyed. Then I entered Up High School. I went through the HSAT (High School Admission Test) and successfully passed. I was kind of nervous carrying the fact that UP is a university for the intelligent students (Ows?!) yet excited to meet new people and enter a new level of life. Because I am active in sports, I made a connection with other people and made friends with them. I joined a sports fest when I was in first year for volleyball and finished third place (out of FIVE! Haha!). Volleyball has been the sport of the family. My sisters were into volleyball too. They were very fortunate to have studied in Colegio Del Sto. Nino, one of the schools who best produce volleyball players. Currently, my eldest sister’s working in a Credit Card company while my other sister is about to graduate from college this Saturday. It’s really amazing how time flies by. How people could grow and constantly change. I may be this person now but I could be another me in the near future. I hope I could be better, and not a person less of me. And I know that God would surely help me to go to the right direction.
